【ATV新聞】有流行樂天王之稱的米高積遜，憑獨創的舞步及台風風靡萬千歌迷，八十年代紅遍全球，多首歌曲更成為經典。不過，踏入九十年代事業就開始走下坡。

出身工人家庭的米高積遜，大約五、六歲就顯露音樂天份，之後與四個哥哥組成JACKSON 5組合，擔任隊中的主音歌手，登台及出唱片大受歡迎，童年就在舞台上渡過。

至七十年代初，米高正式獨立發展，推出個人大碟，迅速走紅。二十四歲更憑唱片THRILLER將事業推向高峰，這張唱片至今仍然是全球最暢銷，奪得八項格林美獎，裡面多首歌曲BILLIE JEAN及BEAT IT更成為經典名曲。

米高積遜自創的獨特舞步及台風更成為他的標記，八十年代紅遍全球，風靡萬千樂迷，唱片的全球總銷量高達七億五千萬張，奠定他一代流行樂天王地位。

不過，踏入九十年代米高風光不再，他的事業開始走下坡，私生活更不時傳出負面新聞。米高被指是孌童癖，兩度被告上法庭，指他性侵犯兒童，不過都庭外和解或判無罪，但差點令他身敗名裂。

九四年與貓王皮禮士利的獨生女麗沙瑪利結婚，但兩年後就離婚收場，米高之後再婚，不過亦分手告終。

米高積遜在公開場合的行為越來越怪異，他試過站在露台將幼子抱在半空引起非議。另外，有報道指米高多次整容修細鼻子及漂白皮膚，令容貌走樣變型，米高經常要戴面罩示人，就連帶三個子女去購物都全程戴上面罩。

連番官司加上不善理財令他欠下巨債，要變賣加州的夢幻樂園還債。不過，無論如何這位流行樂壇巨星的歌聲及舞姿，將會長留在歌迷的心中。
